Our Solution
Lilypad Learning offers a fresh approach that directly responds to the previously highlighted issues. Our programming brings financial literacy to life through peer-led, story-driven sessions that emphasize relevance alongside engagement. By creating a space where students hear from people close to their age and stage of life, our workshops make personal finance feel immediate and relatable. Interactive activities and open conversations help students connect emotionally with the content, leading to better retention and greater motivation to apply what they learn. Rather than being told what to do, youth are invited into a conversation about why financial literacy matters now and how it empowers their future.

Our Impact
We have hosted six “Turn Your Cents Into Sense” sessions to over 50 youth. The sessions focus on budgeting, debt, and investing. These sessions aimed to provide a simple and engaging introduction to personal finance, with a strong emphasis on relatability and gamification. This pilot initiative demonstrated how impactful personal and relatable content can be in building financial literacy. Feedback from participants was overwhelmingly positive, students reported feeling more informed and curious about personal finance after the sessions
